I read this and thought - oh she says it much more eloquently than me ! so i'm just going to say that im not the LC that saw this lady but i wholeheartedly agree that having the help of an IBCLC in the first weeks of breastfeeding are priceless. My favourite motto is that I can start mothers and babies off well and deal with crises - but the day to day, week to week support is the thing that keeps them going.
Im not doing private calls at the moment - but my classes start again in September .
